About the Arctic Circle Trail
The Arctic Circle Trail (ACT) is the most popular thru-hike in Greenland. It stretches 160 km from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut. The trail starts at the edge of the icecap and then heads west to the ocean. It's a completely remote trail with no settlements along the route, only huts to spend the night, countless lakes and rivers, and arctic wildlife and fauna.
