About the Cumbria Way
The Cumbria Way (other called the Cumbrian Way) is a popular multi-day hiking trail in Cumbria, England. It starts at Ulverston and finishes in Carlisle, with the vast majority of the trail passing through the Lake District National Park. Unlike a lot of other hiking trails in the Lake District, the Cumbria Way passes mainly through the lower moorlands, and only occasionally heads up to higher elevations. It's a long, well-marked hiking trail in good condition, and it takes you through some of the most beautiful sceneries in England, which explains its popularity.
