About the Mount Everest Three Passes Trek
The Everest Three Passes Trek, other called "EBC + Three Passes Trek", "Everest Base Camp and Three Passes Trek" or "Everest Three Passes and Three Mountains Trek", is a longer variation of the Everest Base Camp Trek. It shares the same route as the Everest Base Camp Trek for roughly half of the trek. For the rest of the route, it takes additional sidetrails to three mountain passes: Renjo La, Cho La, and Kongma La. Additionally, a lot of hikers also choose to climb three additional peaks: Kala Patthar, Gokyo Ri, and Chukhung Ri. This trail features spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains and requires acclimatization due to the high elevation.
