About the Lechweg
Lechweg is a classic hike in the Alps that follows the Lech River Valley. It starts in the Austrian Vorarlberg region, near the Formarinsee Lake, and then follows the natural flow of the river through Tyrol, until the Lechfall waterfall near the German/Austrian border, near the Füssen city. It offers some of the most spectacular and lush scenery of the Alps, with turquoise rivers, crystal-clear streams, tall and lush forests, and steep cliffs along the valley.
