About the Moselsteig Trail
The Moselsteig Trail (in German Der Moselsteig), is a thru-hike in south-western Germany. It starts at the French border in a town called Peri and continues 365 km to Koblenz. The trail itself follows the Moselle Valley along the Luxembourg border in Saarland and through mainland Germany in Rhineland-Palatinate. It goes through many traditional villages, and overgrown forests, crosses countless streams, and offers beautiful views over the valley.
