About the North Coast Trail
The North Coast Trail is a (usually) multi-day hike that takes place in the Cape Scott Provincial Park on the northern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. It starts at the Shushartie Bay and finishes in the Nissen Bight. This trail mostly goes right along the coastline on white sand beaches, but it also passes inland through forests and marshes. Many choose it over the West Coast Trail due to its lesser popularity and increased remoteness.
