About the Padjelantaleden Trail
The Padjelantaleden (Padjelanta Trail) is a popular thru-hike in Northern Sweden. It starts at Kvikkjokk and then heads to Änonjalme (Ritsem) through the Tarra Valley and Padjelanta National Park. It's a fairly easy trail, but in a very remote area, so a lot of preparation is needed, as even fewer people complete it compared to the nearby Kungsleden. It takes you through very wild and remote northern scenery with high, rolling hills, meadows, marshes, lakes, and white-water rivers.
