The Peaks of the Balkans hiking trail is located on the borders between Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo. It's a (almost) 200 km long loop trail that takes you through the beautiful alpine regions of the Accursed Mountains in the Western Balkans. It's a relatively new hiking trail and was introduced to increase tourism in the rural regions of the Western Balkans. It offers some truly spectacular views - comparable to the ones that you'd find in the Alps.
